Citát dne

Karel Havlíček Borovský

„Our life is the only object in this world that we cannot consider as our private property, because we have contributed nothing to its construction. It has only been bestowed upon us with the obligation to hand it on to posterity, multiplied and perfected. Our peers, therefore, and still more our posterity, have a right to demand an account of our life. This book is meant to be such a heartfelt accounting."

Tomáš Bat'a - THE MESSAGE OF TOMÁŠE BATI sn.

I saw it in the cinema in CinemaCity in Anděl in Prague. Nothing but a communist, subliminal agitprop in a new rendition, which follows the communist BOTOSTROJ. The question is, are the authors so incompetent, or are they all-powerful for the money? I'm not disputing the actual subject matter or the great acting by the lead actress, but to put two great subjects into one in this production is one big shenanigan, if I'm to remain polite.

Jan Antonin Bata and his associates are presented here as hard and ruthless businessmen. This film has absolutely nothing to do with his actual work, intellect and importance to society.

1930: Such a letter would be written by Tomas Bata to the Prime Minister even today !

Dubovský PetrDubovsky Petr rodinaJan Lipavský: "The Czech Republic has come a long way since the Velvet Revolution. We are a free, adult and self-confident democracy. In the 1990s, people wanted a better world, and we must strive for it now. It would be disrespectful to resign ourselves to the ideals of the Velvet Revolution and believe that there is nothing left to improve."

About two months after his death, his wife asked then Secretary of State Miroslav Stasek (now the Czech ambassador to the US) why there was no press release or press coverage of the death of diplomat Petr Dubovec? His answer: 'In the case of deaths of diplomats, the MFA does not react in any way and no news is issued'. In that case, he was probably the only great diplomat in the world, if we exclude totalitarian and undemocratic regimes. The attitude of the Czech Embassy in Riyadh was scandalous and inhuman. By the way, after his death, information about the death of Czech diplomats was always made public?! President Petr Pavel will also be informed about this scandal.

In the video below, his wife, Ms Lenka Dubovcová, describes the shocking facts. Of course, she meant the Foreign Service Act, not the Civil Service Act.

A lawsuit was filed against the MFA of the Czech Republic and two hearings were held. The judge was promoted, the case is back to square one. The public will be informed about the further course of action. The public media has shown no interest in the case. Why is that? You'll understand after watching the video. The demonstrators in November 89, 34 years later, never imagined such criminal conditions.

I suppose that the MFA of the Czech Republic will ask the police to issue an international arrest warrant for my person so that I cannot disturb the speech of Minister Lipavsky by my mere presence, as was the case on the 7th. November in Vienna. Neither the Director of the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, Mr. Emil Brix, nor Minister Jan Lipavsky have yet replied to my letters. The struggle for freedom of speech and the public's right to information has its price - some are prosecuted by the police, others by their own fear. JŠ

The Czech Embassy in Vienna called in the Austrian police so that Šinágl would not "disturb" the speech of Minister Lipavský

I duly and on time (25.10.2023) logged on to the Vienna Diplomatic Academy website to participate in an interview with the Czech Foreign Minister on Geopolitical Challenges and the New Czech Security Strategy. Shortly after my arrival, two Austrian uniformed police officers arrived, legitimized me and asked me to leave the hall, as instructed by the organizer. They were correct, they could not do otherwise. I explained the background to them, which they accepted with understanding. They welcomed my card. In doing so, they unwittingly participated in the restriction of freedom of the press, speech and the public's right to information. The Austrian police were purposely abused by the staff of the Czech Embassy in Vienna.

We don't have an elite that we have liquidated ourselves. The new one likes to learn the old ways. I am reminded of other ways in Switzerland. The government has seven ministers. They elect a "media" president from among their ranks for a year. The ministers are not allowed to use their cell phones, they are not allowed to talk to each other, the meeting room is secured against eavesdropping. The deputies meet three times a year. They know the dates a year in advance (except for special sessions). They have their civic occupations and are paid only for necessary expenses. They do not appear in the media - they have to work. Citizens wouldn't care. They vote for parties based on how they make their living. I wonder how many of today's citizen legislators would practice their professions under those conditions? Recently a representative of an African country was in Switzerland and wanted to experience the popular vote (Landsgemeinde). The cantonal leadership announced that it would be a good idea to raise taxes. They were approved. The African wondered, "What, they approved higher taxes?" I would have voted for it too, but not in the Czech Republic. The Velvet Revolution only necessarily and legally continues the previous "evolution"... JŠ

Unfortunately, I only caught the final performance (I was at the demonstration in Ostrava). The concert took place in the "House of National Minorities" near the I. P. Pavlova metro station (11.11.2023, from 19:00). Symbolically on "War Veterans Day". After the end of the barbaric war in Ukraine there will be tens of thousands more...
