Ladies and gentlemen. For you citizens of the proud and great America, which [is] overflowing with abundance, used to be a land of promise to hundreds of thousand of Europeans, year after year during this long decay before the Great war. For you citizens of this boundless area of the states. A small country, my country, the Czechoslovak Republic, situated now in the middle of the noisy and belching caldron of European unrest. Is almost of little interest.
Vaclav Klaus will leave office next week after a decade as president of the Czech Republic. Although he played an important role in his country's history, his legacy is likely to be marred by his controversial positions on the European Union, climate change and often blatant populism.
An interview earlier this month with outgoing Czech President Vaclav Klaus was routine: spiteful, hysterical, and disparaging of his predecessor, the late poet, playwright and dissident, Vaclav Havel.
Researchers from Michigan State University and the Warsaw Institute of Technology are developing a wave disk engine and electricity generator that promises to be five times more efficient than traditional auto engines in electricity production, 20% lighter, and 30% cheaper to manufacture. Possible technical realization of the wave-disk engine idea (Credit: Piechna, et al) The new hyper-efficient engine is about the size of a large cooking pot, and could replace current backup generator technology of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, according to Green Car Congress. The idea may not be far-fetched as the team, led by Norbert Müller, an associate professor of mechanical engineering, has recently been awarded $2.5 million from the Department of Energy’s ARPA-E program to begin work on a vehicle-size wave disc engine/generator that could be ready in two years.
(But she has enough of it to use slander and lies when pointing a finger on past of others, as do also her husband and son.)
From the real First Lady we would like to expect at first an apology for totally non-dignified pronoucements aimed by her family toward the Karel Schwarzerberg and his wife, and then an honest comments about criminal past of her father, Mr. Stefan Mistina. Instead, Livia Klausova’s behavior only proves that her character has lots to be desired to be the real and dignified First Lady.
