Citát dne

Karel Havlíček Borovský

Video is a great example of active civic engagement. And yet we have no idea what natural disasters are taking place in Russia - Lake Baikal is the start of something even far worse. J.Š.27.9.2015

Sinagl Jan na souduI do believe, that our country still have enough good meaning people, that we all together shall eventually correct terrible consequences of our totalitarian past that still presents threat to our society on cultural, economic and moral fields.

The importance of my news service “Hlas svobody a Democracie” (Voice of Freedom and Democracy) is gaining purport, significance and respect. It’s one of a small group of independent sources that strive for the most objective reports in the Czech Republic. In our present critical times, such reports are more than needed. To continue my independent work, I have to ensure the financial footing for my activity. This is the only way to stay on course, even to expand my activity and not risk limitation, or even stoppage of my reports. I am turning here to all people who value my work and ask them for financial assistance to allow me to continue for our country, important service.

My work is more and more valued not only in our country, but abroad, too. I supply weekly Bulletins in the Czech language, and Newsletters in English and German languages. Advertisings on my Web would be sufficient to secure my activity, but unfortunately, many entrepreneurs do not have enough courage to do so, they are concerned that my straight, unapologetic, and on occasion quite critical, contents of my reports, could cause them reprise from the powers up. This way, I do offer another way to back-up my work, work that is also in their own interest. I do believe that my, over twelve years and counting, work is more then enough for anyone to trust my sincerity; it is good enough argument to trust my honesty and objectivity. I do believe that in our country are still sufficient numbers of good meaning people, and that we all together shall eventually overcome terrible consequences of our totalitarian past that still presents the real threat to our society on cultural, economic and moral fields.

Thank you.

Bata Tomas a JanThe truth has finally surfaced as to why Jan Bata was blacklisted during the Second worldNash Bata John War in Canada. It turns out that it was due to the efforts of one member of the Canadian government who was closely aligned with Thomas J. Bata.  Glenn W. McPherson, an attorney, was the Canadian Enemy Property Custodian at the time and the person responsible for managing enemy property for the Canadian government.

The legal work Glenn McPherson did in August 1939 describes the methods used by the Canadian government to blacklist and vest the property under the guise of enemy ownership. All Czechs were automatically considered Germans under this mandate. In spite of the fact that Jan Antonin Bata was not in occupied territory at any point during the war. Nor did he ever return to Czechoslovakia. And, the well known fact that J.A.Bata funded the Czechoslovak government in exile throughout the war makes you wonder what other reasons may have led to the blacklisting of J.A.Bata.

HandbookThe "rough guide" contains maps, tips and phone numbers of organisations which might help refugees making the perilous crossing.

This website and news shows that the refugees being sent to Europe are being guided by a handbook that is said to be from an organization funded by billionaire George Soros. The W2EU handbook for refugees = Welcome to Europe for the Refugees.

But the Czech authorities appeared totally unaware of the unfortunate visual connotations with the Holocaust, when prisoners at Auschwitz were systematically tattooed with serial numbers. The Foreigners' Police said the priority in dealing with the 200 migrants at Breclav railway station, in the South Moravian region, was identifying them and trying to keep family members together. This, said a spokeswoman, was a difficult task when many had no documents and did not speak English; hence the numbers in felt-tip pen on their arms. But some are outraged.
