Citát dne

Karel Havlíček Borovský

The United Nations Secretary-General has expressed shock at the massacre of civilians in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and called on the authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice.

At least 25 villagers are reported to have been killed in recent attacks attributed to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) militia in the villages of Tingwe, Mwenda and Nzenga, near Beni territory, in North Kivu province. In a statement issued by his spokesperson on Wednesday, Secretary-General António Guterres “strongly condemned the violence against the civilian population and calls for the perpetrators of these atrocities to be swiftly brought to justice.”

Czech stores that don't sell "essentials" are closed, yet there is no evidence that they pose a greater risk to health than online rivals and couriers with dozens or even thousands of employees. The CR and EU are achieving thein digital goals by violating their fundamental principles. A crisis is indeed an opportunity. - The original lie of the epidemiologists is that the coronavirus is so contagious and so deadly that anyone who is infected but asymptomatic must be locked down. This lie lives on, disproving the Czech saying that a lie has short legs and won't go far. When a person lies like an epidemiologist, the lie becomes immortal ... and societies die.

New Year's resolution

Only in the covid age can "New Year's resolution" have a double meaning. As Czechs make firm decisions about improving thein behavior, the Czech government is apparently about to resolve to lock them down even more. The current government resolution expires on Jan. 10, but Germany is leading the way toward an extension that will last at least until the end of this month. This will give people plenty of time to reassess their own situation and their understanding of the world.

... Official figures cited by Al-Shark Al Aawsat.com notes that Velika Kladusa is home to nearly 350 migrants. Brown a Kamalla HarrisAccording to reports, Brown was still married to his wife Blanche Vitero, despite the fact that they were separated since 1982.

Indian-origin Senator Kamala Devi Harris scripted history when she became the first Black woman to be appointed as running mate by Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in the November presidential elections. Biden on Tuesday picked Harris as his running mate, recognising the crucial role Black voters could play in his determined bid to defeat President Donald Trump in the US presidential election. As scores of media outlets and social media enthusiasts dug into Harris’ past, the piece of information that stood out the most was her affair at 29 with San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, who was then 60. The couple met in 1994.
