Citát dne

Karel Havlíček Borovský

ET Miss Holandsko 2023Former Miss Colombia, Catalina Stubbe, commented on the recent win of a former man at Miss Netherlands in an interview with our partner NTD TV. Catalina Stubbe now lives in the USA, where she is the director of the Hispanic section at the non-profit organization Moms for Liberty. She is the mother of four children. I recommend the video at this link. JŠ

"Russian society is traumatised by its own history," says historian Alexei Kuznetsov. "Russian history of the last three centuries is a history of constant deviation from the common European path. From the development of democratic institutions, from the involvement of society in the management of the state. A history of constant digging into more and more tyranny."

Normal people take as their role models those who have done something, know something, or excel at something. I can understand that. But why anyone admires Putin's declining empire is not very understandable.

I really can't take seriously people who sing odes to Russia when they don't really know anything about it. It is not normal to admire the barbarism, backwardness, mafia and gangsterism or the high murder rate that is typical of contemporary Putin's Russia, only paid propagandists or people with a psychiatric diagnosis can do that.

They were also able to make excellent use of the Russian character, which Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky described in his novel Believing: "Our doctrine is in reality a denial of honour, and the Russian is most easily dragged down by the open right to dishonour."

No particular group of the population earned so much hatred from the Bolsheviks as the kulaks. They symbolized everything Lenin hated: Autonomy, private property and independence.

The bestiality with which the Bolsheviks took on an unarmed enemy who was guilty of nothing, who did everything in his power to meet exorbitant demands, and who rose up only when he knew he would either starve to death or be shot, is incomprehensible even with the passage of a century. The collectors of the tribute, accompanied by detachments of Chekists, resorted to murder, beatings, torture, rape of farmers' wives and daughters, burning of villages or fields and hostage-taking. And in June 1921, for example, Tukhachevsky ordered the forests in which the kulaks hid to be cleared of poison gas.

Soviet soldiers gang-raped an eight-year-old girl, nearly tearing off her legs in the process, a sickening scene recounted by a Polish resistance soldier who witnessed the results of the Bolsheviks' criminal orgy.

There is a horrific episode in history  that the far left usually overlooks: the mass rape of women and girls (some very young) by Stalin's army during World War II. A monstrous crime that, far from being condoned by Soviet leaders, was openly encouraged by Soviet propagandist Ilya Ehrenburg in a message to Red Army soldiers: 'Use force and break the racial pride of these German women. Think of them as your legal expropriation. Kill them!" "Red Army troops used mass rape as a terror tactic as they advanced into Germany," according to Encyclopedia Britannica.
