"I don't want to reproach anyone, reprimand anyone for their mistakes or insult anyone directly or indirectly. For I know that no one makes mistakes because he wants to (and why would anyone want to?), I know that there is no need to fight the darkness, for if it brings the Light, it will retreat by itself."
Jan Amos Komenský, called the Teacher of the Nations

Unfortunately, the effect on the brain extends to adults as well, with social media's effect on emotions and instincts shutting down common sense and making it easier to manipulate. J.Š.
Translation of the interview in Czech:
Has neomarketing also been used in social networking?
Social networking only goes through neomarketing, either directly or indirectly. In certain cases, dopamine levels have even been measured, which is a substance in the brain that rises and falls according to the level of pleasure, satisfaction and anticipation. In particular, programs from Facebook were directly created with this concept in mind, which led to the resignation of Facebook's first president, Sean Parker, who did not found Facebook but ran the company. He considered it unethical and predicted what it does to a person's brain and what it will do to their children.
What is it doing to our children?
It's stupidifying them. It means they're stupid. IQ stops growing, they stop having a vocabulary, they stop being able to solve problems, predict things. Simply put, they don't grow up and they stay in a very flat, artificial Word.
