According to Helena Stehlik, M.D., the use of drugs "was not decided by practitioners, but by politicians."

"The fight against ivermectin was incredibly strong and it was worldwide, it wasn't just in this country, it went like a carbon copy all over the world," says Dr. Stehlik. The positive results of the trials "had to be blocked, otherwise they wouldn't get vaccine authorisations, because if there was a cure, they wouldn't get an EUA, which stands for emergency use authorisation."

"The cost is high compared to other countries, because in India, a covid treatment cost about two dollars," the doctor alludes to the good results reported, for example, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, where local authorities successfully tested ivermectin in spring 2020 and, as of 20 August of the same year, it was officially approved for the treatment of patients with covid-19 and also administered as a preventive.

"If you were to suggest an ideal cure for covid, it would look exactly like ivermectin because it works as an antiviral. It is a very powerful anti-inflammatory drug. It stimulates a process called autophagy. That's one of the main mechanisms for eliminating spike protein, and it improves the microbiome - the bacteria in the gut that covide and vaccines alter in an adverse way, and ivermectin helps restore them. Když dnes David kupoval kafe na benzínce, přinesl kromě horkého nápoje také horkou novinku: ve víkendovém (rudém) Právu byl důležitý headline: „Ivermektin léčí covid-19, ale v Česku nesmí. Proč?“ 

Ivermectin je zjevně (to už je známo celkem dlouho) nadějný lék, který by mohl zachránit dost životů. V mnoha zemích se také s úspěchem používá. V ČR nikoli. Proč? Kvůli úřednímu šimlovi? Neochotě to změnit? Je přece povinností vlády a lékařů usilovat o to, aby byl dočasně povolen jako humánní léčivý přípravek, je-li tomu tak v okolních zemích, třeba na Slovensku. Proč něco nedělá opozice? Proč konečně neusiluje o něco, co by skutečně pomohlo. Není nám vůbec jasné, proč má být všechno problém a nemůžeme zkusit něco, co jinde funguje (když už přebíráme všechna nefunkční opatření třeba z Německa). Je načase se inspirovat i tím dobrým. Je ale fakt, že taky můžeme donekonečna čekat na EU.
