Czech diplomacy has basically ceased to exist. No one informed at home or abroad takes it seriously anymore. It is morbidly corrupt. Decent diplomats have no chance. If they speak up, they are mercilessly liquidated, as if the whistleblower law did not exist (the Czech Republic was one of the last countries in the EU to adopt it). If society is unable to respond adequately to the criminal events around it, the appalling state of the country will only deepen. When will the media finally start to fully perform their function? We do not expect the public broadcaster CT to do so in its current leadership. On Linkedin, interest in my coverage has grown by 50% among journalists and CT. In our country, it is not elected politicians who determine the events, but the power structures behind the scenes, especially the arms dealers. Only the naive and uninformed will believe that Russia no longer has any influence in our country.
I hear from diplomats, both former and current, from all over the world, both Czech and foreign. A small sample: 'It is a "superhighway" that should have been closed long ago. He used to choose his department workers according to their hair colour, preferring blondes. A colleague, a black woman, needed to start, so her friend lied about her being blonde. So on the first day, he was angry. He slept with everyone in the business. He covered visa fraud in Ukraine and Vietnam. He was destroying innocent consuls. He's a former police officer who used to be a security guard for Foreign Minister Jan Kohout (CSSD). They became friends and Kohout split the consular MFA into consular and visa so Vyčítal could be the director of visa. Again, he chose blondes, his girlfriend was his secretary... Truly "equality" of women and men in practice. When he was ambassador to Iraq (2018), visas were sold in Erbil - hundreds a day. According to Iraqi diplomats, all staff were involved. The MFA closed the consulate and only reopened when all was forgotten...
