Liebe Delegierte der Bundesversammlung,

liebe Sudetendeutsche  Landsleute,

 in wenigen Stunden, werden wir uns, die Delegierten der Bundesversammlung, am Heiligenhof, zu einer erneuten Bundesversammlung treffen. Der Heiligenhof, ein symbolträchtiger Ort für uns Sudetendeutsche. Es war unser erster gemeinsamer Besitz, nach der Vertreibung, zu dessen Erwerb und Unterhalt viele Sudetendeutsche mit ihrem Scherflein beigetragen haben. Wir waren stolz auf unsere Sudetendeutsche Bildungsstätte, ein Stück Heimat in der Fremde. Unzählige Tagungen haben dort stattgefunden. Es gab auch kontroverse Diskussionen, aber auch gemütliche Abende, bei den 2Kuku’s“, mit Frankenwein und heimatlicher Musik im Stüberl. Waren die Debatten auch noch so kontrovers, eins wurde nicht in Frage gestellt, die Satzung der Landsmannschaft.

Es war wohl eines der ungewöhnlichsten Treffen zweier Präsidenten: Als Bill Clinton 1994 zu Besuch bei Václav Havel in Prag war, menschelte es durch und durch. Die Korrespondentin des Tschechische Rundfunks in Washington, Lenka Kabrhelová, hat nun ein Exklusivinterview mit dem ehemaligen US-Präsidenten geführt.
